Merci infiniment à Milena Komnenic. Elle vient de traduire en anglais et en japonais un texte que j’ai publié depuis une semaine environ, sous le titre : « Quand l'expression de joie devient une voix artistique de révolte »(*).
Merci encore - et toujours - à Iwasaki Nagi et aux autres artistes plasticiens de talent, qui sont inspirants comme lui.
Ma connaissance de ces deux « partenaires » et mes liens avec eux sont sommaires. Mais un autre acteur, que j’ai du mal à qualifier avec précision, nous a mis en rapport. Je ne sais pas trop comment l’en remercier.
Il s’agit de cet interlocuteur très généreux qu’est le langage universel, le vrai. Un acteur, à la fois omniprésent et discret, abstrait et concret, qui a la capacité de nous parler, à nous tous.
Par ses capacités phénoménales d’évocation, il nous met, nous citoyens du monde, en contact entre nous, quelles que soient nos différences de culture, de religion, de langue, de race ou de sexe. Il nous parle, nous interpelle, nous sert de relais en donnant à tout un chacun les moyens de dire ou de retrouver ses propres sensations.
Devant ce type d’interlocuteurs, que les hommes croisent à tout moment, et s’y rencontrent, les frontières s’effacent automatiquement comme si elles n’avaient jamais existé.
C’est un mode d’expression où les barrières linguistiques n’existent pas. En leur lieu et place on trouve des couleurs, des lumières, de la musique… qui donnent une contexture à cet immense troisième intervenant dont je m’efforce de faire le portrait non sans peine. Une contexture qui définit son identité. Une identité qui a pour nom : l’art.

We can define, I believe, the visual artist Iwasaki Nagi by a formula: a web + its author = the joy that wants to say everything ..
Although I do know it only fairly, through some of the paintings on the front book and a few small e-mails via the same channel, the first of which is about two years old, I am beginning to be sure that the report Japanese Painter to Joy never changes: when he poses or when he exposes, laughs and smiles spring forth from everywhere, appearing on his own face, and through the creatures or objects he paints.
And he is right to display and draw only happiness and to insist on it. I read in his artistic approach a deep message of hope that tells us:
"Dear fellow citizens of the world, there are ways and means to fight misfortune other than black and pessimistic speeches, not only in sad drawings or in writing dark poems or in actions To express the words of joy, to paint them, is to give love, it is the strongest, the most beautiful voice, to express its indignation, to counter the misfortune and its culture which is spreading and we surrounded".
Iwasaki Nagi has chosen to be the echo. By making it his specialty as an artist, it seems that he is launching a challenge to our world today which shines through all sorts of painful situations, with multiple and varied forms, which affect us painfully: wars, hatred, injustice , Poverty, pollution ... To this, the artist feels that he does not want to follow the beaten track of dramatization. He refuses them, rejects them ... preferring to express his anger and revolt differently: in and through joy.
